- So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.”
- Open your mouth, judge righteously,
And plead the cause of the poor and needy. - Excellent speech is not becoming to a fool,
Much less lying lips to a prince. - The tongue of the righteous is choice silver;
The heart of the wicked is worth little. - But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
- But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine.
- By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. - Whoever hides hatred has lying lips,
And whoever spreads slander is a fool. - If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the Lord honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,
Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord;
And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,
And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
The mouth of the Lord has spoken. - For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
- Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
But violence covers the mouth of the wicked. - I have not departed from the commandment of His lips;
I have treasured the words of His mouth
More than my necessary food. - I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth. - But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment.
- In my distress I called upon the Lord,

He heard my voice from His temple,
And my cry came before Him, even to His ears. - For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
- If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.
- When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.
- Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
- Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
- Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.
- And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.
- But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
- Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
But those who deal truthfully are His delight. - But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”
