- Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. - Surely he has borne our griefs

and every tongue shall confess to God.” - Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- For you bless the righteous, O Lord;
you cover him with favor as with a shield. - And that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love.
For you will render to a man
according to his work. - If you turn at my reproof,
behold, I will pour out my spirit to you;
I will make my words known to you. - From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
- When your eyes light on it, it is gone,
for suddenly it sprouts wings,
flying like an eagle toward heaven. - You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him. - Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!

- Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
- Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
