Chinese (traditional)- Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
- Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man!
- Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
- You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
- The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. - But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.
- If you turn at my reproof,
behold, I will pour out my spirit to you;
I will make my words known to you. - Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father.
- The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.
- God, having raised up his servant, sent him to you first, to bless you by turning every one of you from your wickedness.
- Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
- Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.
- Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
- And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.
- Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good?
- If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
- Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”
- When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you. - And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
- You shall walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you shall possess.
- Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
- You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace.
- But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.
- And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever.
Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?The ransom of a man's life is his wealth,
but a poor man hears no threat. Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”Next verse!With image
