- But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written: “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
- If we live by the Spirit, let’s follow the Spirit as well.
- The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. - Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
- That which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit.
- For this is what the high and exalted One
Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, says:
“I dwell in a high and holy place,
And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit
In order to revive the spirit of the lowly
And to revive the heart of the contrite.” - So you are to be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy; and I have singled you out from the peoples to be Mine.
- God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
- For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- Bless the Lord, my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His holy name. - For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
- For the one who sows to his own flesh will reap destruction from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
- Being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and now it is already in the world.
- For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons and daughters of God.
- For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God.
