So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. Oh, that they would always have hearts like this, that they might fear me and obey all my commands! For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. | In other words, God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, and not holding people’s transgressions against them, and he committed to us the message of reconciliation. |
