Bible Verses about 'Think'

Through the grace that God has bestowed upon me, I advise every one of you not to think of yourself too highly, but to regard yourself objectively, based on the measure of faith that God has granted. For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.
Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace but a sword.Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill them.Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.
When you pray do not go on babbling endlessly as the pagans do, for they believe that they are more likely to be heard because of their many words. And when you are praying, do not use thoughtless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard because of their many words.
Do you suppose that I cannot appeal to my Father for help and he will not immediately send me more than twelve legions of angels?Or do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
Do not wear yourself out in the pursuit of wealth, and cease even to think about it.Do not weary yourself to gain wealth; Stop dwelling on it.
What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? What is man that You think of him, And a son of man that You are concerned about him?
Finally, brethren, let your minds be filled with whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, whatever is excellent, whatever is worthy of praise. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
The Lord does not delay in keeping his promise, as some think in terms of delay, but he is patient with you. It is not his wish that any should perish but rather that all should be brought to repentance. The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.
To him who in all things is able through the power that is at work within us to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus through all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
For I know full well the plans I have for you, plans for your welfare and not for your misfortune, plans that will offer you a future filled with hope.‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’
Therefore, you must also be prepared, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.For this reason you must be ready as well; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.
Let no one delude himself. If anyone among you considers himself to be wise by worldly standards, he must become a fool in order to be truly wise.Take care that no one deceives himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise.
I have made a covenant with my eyes not to look with desire upon a virgin.I have made a covenant with my eyes; How then could I look at a virgin?
A man’s ways may seem right to him, but the Lord weighs the heart.Every person’s way is right in his own eyes, But the Lord examines the hearts.
Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and allow no opportunity for the flesh to gratify its sinful desires. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.
If anyone thinks that he is religious but does not restrain his tongue, he is deceiving himself, and his religion is worthless. If anyone thinks himself to be religious, yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this person’s religion is worthless.
Fix your thoughts on things that are above, not on things that are on the earth.Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.
What then if you were to behold the Son of Man ascend to where he was before? What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before?
Those who live according to the flesh fix their attention on the things of the flesh, while those who live according to the Spirit set their thoughts on spiritual things. For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
One person may consider one day to be more sacred than another, while another may judge all days to be alike. Let everyone be convinced in his own beliefs. One person values one day over another, another values every day the same. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind.

One who is covetous will never be satisfied with money, nor will the lover of wealth be content with gain. This too is vanity. One who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor one who loves abundance with its income. This too is futility.
