- He lays up sound wisdom for the upright.
He is a shield to those who walk in integrity. - Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.
- Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind.
Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down.
Yahweh loves the righteous. - Like a father has compassion on his children,
so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him. - Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh,
but those who do the truth are his delight. - Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase.
- If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
- Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to Yahweh’s law. - Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. - Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of your hand to do it. - To those who by perseverance in well-doing seek for glory, honor, and incorruptibility, eternal life.
- We are his witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
- The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger,
but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing. - Then those who gladly received his word were baptized. There were added that day about three thousand souls.
- But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
- Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants.
None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned. - Yahweh’s face is against those who do evil,
to cut off their memory from the earth. - The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness;
the world, and those who dwell in it. - My times are in your hand.
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. - Watch yourselves, that we don’t lose the things which we have accomplished, but that we receive a full reward.
- Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
- So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
- For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- God sets the lonely in families.
He brings out the prisoners with singing,
