- Every word of God is flawless.
He is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - Like a father has compassion on his children,
so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him. - Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase.
- The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger,
but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing. - Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh,
but those who do the truth are his delight. - Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind.
Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down.
Yahweh loves the righteous. - If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
- Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. - Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to Yahweh’s law. - Yahweh’s face is against those who do evil,
to cut off their memory from the earth. - We are his witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
- Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of your hand to do it. - But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
- Then those who gladly received his word were baptized. There were added that day about three thousand souls.
- Watch yourselves, that we don’t lose the things which we have accomplished, but that we receive a full reward.
- Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants.
None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned. - God sets the lonely in families.
He brings out the prisoners with singing,
but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land. - Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
- Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”
- The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness;
the world, and those who dwell in it. - A highway will be there, a road,
and it will be called “The Holy Way”.
The unclean shall not pass over it,
but it will be for those who walk in the Way.
Wicked fools shall not go there. - My times are in your hand.
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. - For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears open to their prayer;
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
- For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
