- Be exalted, O God, above the heavens!
Let your glory be over all the earth! - And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
- For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

your throne endures to all generations. - Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. - Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! - And keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.
- I will be glad and exult in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. - And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.”
- As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.
- And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
- And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
- I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.
- In peace I will both lie down and sleep;
for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”
- Then you will understand righteousness and justice
and equity, every good path. - And they stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on his head and put a reed in his right hand. And kneeling before him, they mocked him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
- For you are my rock and my fortress;
and for your name's sake you lead me and guide me. - Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable. - You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's.
- My lips will shout for joy,
when I sing praises to you;
my soul also, which you have redeemed. - There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?
- You have given me the shield of your salvation,
and your right hand supported me,
and your gentleness made me great.
You gave a wide place for my steps under me,
and my feet did not slip. - I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
