- The sum of your word is truth,
and every one of your righteous rules endures forever. - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,

Let your good Spirit lead me
on level ground! - Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love,

according to your steadfast love remember me,
for the sake of your goodness, O Lord! - Hear my prayer, O Lord;
give ear to my pleas for mercy!
In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness! - Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him, and he will act.
He will bring forth your righteousness as the light,
and your justice as the noonday. - The Lord will keep you from all evil;
he will keep your life.
The Lord will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time forth and forevermore. - Remove vexation from your heart, and put away pain from your body, for youth and the dawn of life are vanity.
- Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us, and atone for our sins,
for your name's sake! - And I shall walk in a wide place,
for I have sought your precepts. - Do not forsake your friend and your father's friend,
and do not go to your brother's house in the day of your calamity.
Better is a neighbor who is near
than a brother who is far away. - But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
- You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. - I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud
and your sins like mist;
return to me, for I have redeemed you. - You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's.
- I hasten and do not delay
to keep your commandments. - If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.
- Be not wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
It will be healing to your flesh
and refreshment to your bones. - You have given me the shield of your salvation,
and your right hand supported me,
and your gentleness made me great.
You gave a wide place for my steps under me,
and my feet did not slip. - When I thought, “My foot slips,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. - You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
- You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
- Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path. - You are my hiding place and my shield;
I hope in your word.
