- Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws;
our heart’s desire is to glorify your name. - And Jesus said to him, “Go, for your faith has healed you.” Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road.
- Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord,
for our hope is in you alone. - But when you fast, comb your hair and wash your face. Then no one will notice that you are fasting, except your Father, who knows what you do in private. And your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.
- You must serve only the Lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness.

and make all your plans succeed. - But as for me, I will sing about your power.
Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love.
For you have been my refuge,
a place of safety when I am in distress. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take. - Your unfailing love is better than life itself;
how I praise you!
I will praise you as long as I live,
lifting up my hands to you in prayer. - I have chosen to be faithful;
I have determined to live by your regulations. - O Lord, I will honor and praise your name,
for you are my God.
You do such wonderful things!
You planned them long ago,
and now you have accomplished them. - In the same way, wisdom is sweet to your soul.
If you find it, you will have a bright future,
and your hopes will not be cut short. - I have hidden your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you. - Go back to Hezekiah, the leader of my people. Tell him, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will heal you, and three days from now you will get out of bed and go to the Temple of the Lord.’
- When doubts filled my mind,
your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. - I will never forget your commandments,
for by them you give me life. - Don’t get sidetracked;
keep your feet from following evil. - I have rejoiced in your laws
as much as in riches. - Don’t let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow old and say, “Life is not pleasant anymore.”
- Those who love your instructions have great peace
and do not stumble. - Guard your heart above all else,
for it determines the course of your life.
