- Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
- The Lord is good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble;
And He knows those who trust in Him. - Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil.
- Great peace have those who love Your law,
And nothing causes them to stumble. - And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
- Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
- As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

- Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.
- “For the mountains shall depart
And the hills be removed,
But My kindness shall not depart from you,
Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,”
Says the Lord, who has mercy on you. - And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
