Bible Verses about 'Unfailing love'
- The Lord is good,
an unfailing refuge in a time of distress.
He takes care of those who place their trust in him. - Let your face shine upon your servant;
save me in your kindness. - When I realized that my foot was slipping,
your kindness, O Lord, raised me up. - O Lord, let your kindness rest upon us,
for we have placed our hope in you. - The Lord loves righteousness and justice;

God is love,
and whoever abides in love

or what is in the world.
If anyone does love the world,
the love of the Father is not in him. - Therefore, we love because he first loved us.
- If you love me,
you will keep my commandments. - In love there is no fear;
indeed, perfect love casts out fear,
because fear has to do with punishment,
and whoever fears
has not yet achieved perfection in love. - A man’s attraction is his kindness;
it is far better to be poor than to be a liar. - May mercy, peace, and love be granted you in abundance.
- As for me, I trust in your kindness;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord
because he has been good to me. - At dawn let me experience your kindness,
for in you I place my trust.
Show me the path I must walk,
for to you I lift up my soul. - No one has ever seen God,
but if we love one another,
God abides in us,
and his love is made complete in us. - Beloved,
let us love one another,
because love is from God.
Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. - I give you a new commandment:
love one another.
Just as I have loved you,
so you should also love one another. - Thus there are three things that endure: faith, hope, and love,
and the greatest of these is love. - If someone says, “I love God,”
but at the same time hates his brother,
he is a liar.
For whoever does not love the brother
whom he has seen

as I have loved you. - The second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- Let your love be sincere. Loathe what is evil and hold fast to what is good.
- No one can have greater love
than to lay down his life for his friends. - Those who love your law have great peace;
they encounter no stumbling blocks. - Love is patient;
love is charitable.
Love is not envious;
it does not have an inflated opinion of itself;
it is not filled with its own importance.
Love is never rude;
it does not seek its own advantage.
It is not prone to anger;
neither does it brood over setbacks. - This is the commandment
we have received from him:
whoever loves God
must also love his brother. - Dear children,
let us love not in word or speech
but in deed and truth. - The Lord is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in kindness. - I reprove and discipline all those whom I love. Therefore, be sincere in your desire to repent.
- This is how everyone will know
that you are my disciples:
if you love one another. - Love one another with genuine affection. Esteem others more highly than yourself.
- For your kindness extends to the heavens;
your faithfulness, to the skies. - Although the mountains may be shaken
and the hills may totter,
my steadfast love will not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace will never be shaken,
says the Lord who has compassion on you. - May the Lord cause your love to increase and overflow for one another and for everyone else, just as our love does for you.
- You are all-beautiful, my love,
without the slightest blemish. - With all humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another in a spirit of love.
- For from the beginning
you have heard the message
that we should love one another. - But I say to you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
- O Lord, you are kind and forgiving,
filled with kindness for all who cry to you. - And ‘to love him with all your heart, and with all your understanding, and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself,’ is worth more than any burnt offerings and sacrifices.
