- Let your face shine upon your servant;
save me in your kindness. - The Lord is good,

as I have loved you. - Keep in mind, therefore, that the Lord, your God, is God. He is a faithful God who keeps his covenant of mercy to the thousandth generation toward those who love him and observe his commandments.

it is not filled with its own importance.
Love is never rude;
it does not seek its own advantage.
It is not prone to anger;
neither does it brood over setbacks. - This is the commandment
we have received from him:
whoever loves God
must also love his brother. - Dear children,
let us love not in word or speech
but in deed and truth. - I reprove and discipline all those whom I love. Therefore, be sincere in your desire to repent.
- This is how everyone will know
that you are my disciples:
