Chinese (traditional)- And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.
- Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
- I acknowledge my sin unto thee,
and mine iniquity have I not hid.
I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord;
and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. - According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.
- Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
- Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
- And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
- Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
- The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. - But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
- The entrance of thy words giveth light;
it giveth understanding unto the simple. - Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
- Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things:
this is known in all the earth. - O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people. - The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him,
to all that call upon him in truth. - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
- Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
- Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
- The Lord will give strength unto his people;
the Lord will bless his people with peace. - Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
- Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
- Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
I stretch forth my hands unto thee:
my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.
