| Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. | He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. | Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. | Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith. |

Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died. |

| So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. | So also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him. |
| Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” | And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!” |
| “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” | Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” |
| From the Lord comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people. | Victory comes from you, O Lord. May you bless your people. |
| Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. | Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed. |
| Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.” | Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.” |
| If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector. | If the person still refuses to listen, take your case to the church. Then if he or she won’t accept the church’s decision, treat that person as a pagan or a corrupt tax collector. |
