- For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
- A perverse man sows strife,
And a whisperer separates the best of friends. - Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
- All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.
