Chinese (traditional)- For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.
- I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have being. - I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.
- Everyone also to whom God has given wealth and possessions and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toil—this is the gift of God.
- Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
- If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!
- So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
- Return to me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts.
- I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
- But the steadfast love of the Lord is
from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children's children,
to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments. - For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?
- So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.
- Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
- Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
- And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
- I hasten and do not delay
to keep your commandments. - For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
- Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment.
- Bondservants are to be submissive to their own masters in everything; they are to be well-pleasing, not argumentative, not pilfering, but showing all good faith, so that in everything they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior.
- As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.
- And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
- There is a way that seems right to a man,
but its end is the way to death. - And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments and statutes of the Lord, which I am commanding you today for your good?
- To this day I have had the help that comes from God, and so I stand here testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would come to pass: that the Christ must suffer and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles.
- For it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall confess to God.”
And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.”
