Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Ways'
- “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord. - Show me your ways, Lord,
teach me your paths. - As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts. - Let us examine our ways and test them,
and let us return to the Lord. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and faithful in all he does. - Give careful thought to the paths for your feet
and be steadfast in all your ways. - Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
who walk in obedience to him. - Whoever keeps commandments keeps their life,
but whoever shows contempt for their ways will die. - He is the Rock, his works are perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong,
upright and just is he. - Do not envy the violent
or choose any of their ways.
For the Lord detests the perverse
but takes the upright into his confidence. - Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him.
- Whoever walks in integrity walks securely,
but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight. - A person may think their own ways are right,
but the Lord weighs the heart. - Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out! - Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.
- Who is wise? Let them realize these things.
Who is discerning? Let them understand.
The ways of the Lord are right;
the righteous walk in them,
but the rebellious stumble in them. - When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.
- Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?
- If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
- Do not be like your ancestors, to whom the earlier prophets proclaimed: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Turn from your evil ways and your evil practices.’ But they would not listen or pay attention to me, declares the Lord.
- Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to the law of the Lord. - We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.
- Let the wicked forsake their ways
and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon. - Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them his way.
Observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go.Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.Next verse!With image
