- “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”
- All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
- Oh, what joy for those
whose disobedience is forgiven,
whose sin is put out of sight! - Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.
- I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown.

whose people he has chosen as his inheritance. - Unfailing love, O Lord, is yours.
Surely you repay all people
according to what they have done. - Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness.
Let the whole world know what he has done. - I never shrank back from telling you what you needed to hear, either publicly or in your homes.
- The Lord is more pleased when we do what is right and just
than when we offer him sacrifices. - What are mere mortals that you should think about them,
human beings that you should care for them? - The father of godly children has cause for joy.
What a pleasure to have children who are wise. - O Lord, I have come to you for protection;
don’t let me be disgraced.
Save me, for you do what is right. - What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
- Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all.
- But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
- But test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. Stay away from every kind of evil.
- So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.
- So we can say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper,
so I will have no fear.
What can mere people do to me?” - What are you waiting for? Get up and be baptized. Have your sins washed away by calling on the name of the Lord.
- But when Jesus heard what had happened, he said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed.”
