- So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
- Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
- If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
- For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.
- Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
- Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
- Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.’
- Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
- The lips of the righteous know what finds favor,
but the mouth of the wicked only what is perverse. - Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
- However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”—
the things God has prepared for those who love him. - “Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”
- This is what the Lord says to Israel: “Seek me and live.”
- For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
- God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”
- You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.
- What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?
- You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
- Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
- Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before!
- He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God. - You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.
- Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.
- But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
- What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.Next verse!With image
