- Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.
- And said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.”
- Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.”
- Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
- Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
- He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber. - Oh, how great is Your goodness,
Which You have laid up for those who fear You,
Which You have prepared for those who trust in You
In the presence of the sons of men! - He who walks with integrity walks securely,
But he who perverts his ways will become known. - But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
- For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
- Great peace have those who love Your law,
And nothing causes them to stumble. - Who is wise?
Let him understand these things.
Who is prudent?
Let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right;
The righteous walk in them,
But transgressors stumble in them. - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
- Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
- Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
- Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him.
- A man who has friends must himself be friendly,
But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. - Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! - But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
- The Lord redeems the soul of His servants,
And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned. - Every word of God is pure;
He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. - Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
- Who is a God like You,
Pardoning iniquity
And passing over the transgression
of the remnant of His heritage?
He does not retain His anger forever,
Because He delights in mercy. - For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
- He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.
