Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin.Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin.
Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.
But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God.
Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on me will also live because of me.
Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.
Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening, he shall have whatever he says.
If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?
Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.
Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh.
For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.”For, “He who would love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it.”
Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control.Like a city that is broken down and without walls is a man whose spirit is without restraint.
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.”Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin.”
The one who gets wisdom loves life; the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper.He who gets wisdom loves his own soul. He who keeps understanding shall find good.
Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.
