What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his very life?And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?
Blessed are those who observe his statutes and seek him with their whole heart.Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts.
I will offer praise to you, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will recount all your wondrous deeds.I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.

Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with your whole heart, considering the great things he has done for you.But be sure to fear the Lord and faithfully serve him. Think of all the wonderful things he has done for you.
And ‘to love him with all your heart, and with all your understanding, and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself,’ is worth more than any burnt offerings and sacrifices.And I know it is important to love him with all my heart and all my understanding and all my strength, and to love my neighbor as myself. This is more important than to offer all of the burnt offerings and sacrifices required in the law.
I refrained from eating any choice food, abstaining from consuming meat or wine, and I did not anoint myself until those three weeks had passed.All that time I had eaten no rich food. No meat or wine crossed my lips, and I used no fragrant lotions until those three weeks had passed.

I wait for the Lord in anxious expectation; I place my hope in his word.I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.
Bless the Lord, O my soul; my entire being, bless his holy name.Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all assembled together in one place. Suddenly, there came from heaven a sound similar to that of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were sitting.On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting.
Give thanks to the Lord, invoke his name; proclaim his deeds among the peoples.Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.

When Jesus heard this, he said, “Do not be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be saved.”But when Jesus heard what had happened, he said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed.”
