- For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?
- Blessed are those who keep his testimonies,
who seek him with their whole heart. - He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
- With my whole heart I seek you;
let me not wander from your commandments! - I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. - For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?
- The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
- Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
and with his wounds we are healed. - And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one and his name one.
- Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine.
- O God, you are my God;
earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land
where there is no water. - I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope. - Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name! - When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting.
- Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name;
make known his deeds among the peoples!
But Jesus on hearing this answered him, “Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well.”Who is this King of glory?
