- The Lord will keep you from all evil;
he will keep your life.
The Lord will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time forth and forevermore. - I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my eye upon you. - The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice;
he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him. - And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one and his name one.
- Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! - For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
- She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
- If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
- Cast your burden on the Lord,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved. - And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
- Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
- If you turn at my reproof,
behold, I will pour out my spirit to you;
I will make my words known to you. - He will render to each one according to his works.
- So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
- Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.
- For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it.
- I will strengthen the house of Judah,
and I will save the house of Joseph.
I will bring them back because I have compassion on them,
and they shall be as though I had not rejected them,
for I am the Lord their God and I will answer them. - Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper,
but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy. - Know that wisdom is such to your soul;
if you find it, there will be a future,
and your hope will not be cut off. - But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
- And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God.”
- If you will not listen, if you will not take it to heart to give honor to my name, says the Lord of hosts, then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings. Indeed, I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart.
- But I with the voice of thanksgiving
will sacrifice to you;
what I have vowed I will pay.
Salvation belongs to the Lord! - He will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. - The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.
