Wilt (4/4)

  • I will establish my covenant with you: never again will all living creatures be cut off by the waters of a flood, nor will the earth be laid waste by a flood again.
  • For the Lord loves the just,
    and he will not forsake his faithful ones.
    Those who follow evil paths will be destroyed,
    and the children of the wicked will be cut off.
  • And I heard a loud voice proclaim from the throne:
    “Behold, God’s dwelling is with mankind;
    he will dwell with them.
    They will be his people,
    and he will be their God,
    God-with-them.
    He will wipe every tear from their eyes,
    and there will no longer be death.
    Neither will there be any mourning or crying or pain,
    for the old order has passed away.”
  • They will never again experience hunger or thirst,
    nor will the sun or any scorching heat cause them discomfort.
    For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne
    will be their shepherd.
    He will guide them to springs of living water,
    and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
  • What I commanded them was this: Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. If you follow all the ways that I command you, then you will prosper.
  • Then Jesus said to those Jews who did believe in him,
    “If you remain faithful to my word,
    you will truly be my disciples.
    You will know the truth,
    and the truth will set you free.”
  • No one who conceals his transgressions will prosper,
    but one who confesses and renounces them will obtain mercy.
  • Blessed are the pure of heart, for they will see God.
  • But I with hymns of praise
    will offer sacrifice to you.
    What I have vowed I will fulfill.
    Salvation comes from the Lord.
  • Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. The measure that you use for others will be used to measure you.
  • Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
  • Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
  • Therefore, I tell you that every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
  • Remember this: if you sow sparingly, you will reap sparingly, and if you sow generously, you will reap generously as well.
  • Only goodness and kindness will follow me
    all the days of my life,
    and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever and ever.
  • With his feathers he will shelter you,
    and you will take refuge under his wings;
    his faithfulness serves as a protective shield.
  • For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the sake of the gospel will save it.
  • I will make haste and not delay
    to observe your precepts.
  • For where your treasure is, there will your heart also be.
  • Take care, brethren, that none of you will ever have an evil and unbelieving heart that will cause you to forsake the living God.
  • To do your will, O God, is my delight;
    your law is in my heart.
  • For I will provide the weary with all they need, and I will restore the strength of all those who have grown faint with hunger.
  • Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my heavenly Father.
  • One who is covetous will never be satisfied with money,
    nor will the lover of wealth be content with gain.
    This too is vanity.
  • All those who have sinned outside the Law will perish outside the Law, and all who sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law.
