Bible Verses about 'Women in rebellion'
- Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or expensive apparel, but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness.

And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper. - No one is to deceive you in any way! For it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
- But He was pierced for our offenses,
He was crushed for our wrongdoings;
The punishment for our well-being was laid upon Him,
And by His wounds we are healed. - I acknowledged my sin to You,
And I did not hide my guilt;
I said, “I will confess my wrongdoings to the Lord”;
And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah - For no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
- God makes a home for the lonely;
He leads out the prisoners into prosperity,
Only the rebellious live in parched lands. - Go, gather all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants also will fast in the same way. And then I will go in to the king, which is not in accordance with the law; and if I perish, I perish.
- Rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer.

And kind in all His works. - Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.
- Trust in the Lord and do good;
Live in the land and cultivate faithfulness. - For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
- Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in distresses, in persecutions, in difficulties, in behalf of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
- Not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
- We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
- The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace,
Because he trusts in You. - Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.
- You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- Little children, let’s not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.
- As for you, see that what you heard from the beginning remains in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
- By this we know that we remain in Him and He in us, because He has given to us of His Spirit.
- A fool does not delight in understanding,
But in revealing his own mind. - The one who keeps His commandments remains in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He remains in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

For You alone, Lord, have me dwell in safety. - When I am afraid,
I will put my trust in You. - And whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- The Lord is good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble,
And He knows those who take refuge in Him. - And in Hades he raised his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his arms. And he cried out and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus, so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.’
- Accordingly, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in the inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.
- If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! - I have instructed you in the way of wisdom;
I have led you in upright paths. - In God, whose word I praise,
In God I have put my trust;
I shall not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - In You, Lord, I have taken refuge;
Let me never be put to shame;
In Your righteousness rescue me. - Some praise their chariots and some their horses,
But we will praise the name of the Lord, our God. - No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us.
- Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
- Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.
- So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
- Pray, then, in this way:
‘Our Father, who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.’
