Bible Verses about 'Women in rebellion'
- In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
- These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
- And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
- Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.
- Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
- But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed. - I acknowledge my sin unto thee,
and mine iniquity have I not hid.
I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord;
and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. - For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

he bringeth out those which are bound with chains:
but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. - Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.
- Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

as much as in all riches. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works. - He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee. - Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

I have led thee in right paths. - In God I will praise his word,
in God I have put my trust;
I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. - If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
- In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust;
let me never be ashamed:
deliver me in thy righteousness. - Blessed is the man
that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
