Chinese (traditional)- I cried unto him with my mouth,
and he was extolled with my tongue. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him. - Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
- Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable. - And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
- Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
- I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - I love the Lord, because he hath heard
my voice and my supplications.
Because he hath inclined his ear unto me,
therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. - But I have trusted in thy mercy;
my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
I will sing unto the Lord,
because he hath dealt bountifully with me. - The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Day unto day uttereth speech,
and night unto night sheweth knowledge. - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
- What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
- Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
- Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah. - I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. - I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people:
and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. - Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. - My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee;
and my soul, which thou hast redeemed. - Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits,
even the God of our salvation. Selah. - I will extol thee, my God, O king;
and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. - Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.
- I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
- Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time,
and in the night his song shall be with me,
and my prayer unto the God of my life. - Whom have I in heaven but thee?
and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. - Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us.
