- Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come— that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.
- In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
- What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
- I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord

- For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
- Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.”
- For
“He who would love life
And see good days,
Let him refrain his tongue from evil,
And his lips from speaking deceit.
Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it.” - That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love.
- I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.
- The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor,
But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered. - Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?
- What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?
- However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.
- But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
- And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.
- He who covers a transgression seeks love,
But he who repeats a matter separates friends. - For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
Turn at my rebuke;
Surely I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you.Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.Next verse!With image
