- The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom;
and before honour is humility. - Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his face continually. - The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. - Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord;
and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you:
for I am merciful, saith the Lord,
and I will not keep anger for ever. - Seek ye the Lord while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near. - For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - Deliver my soul, O Lord,
from lying lips,
and from a deceitful tongue. - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich:
he bringeth low, and lifteth up. - And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
- For thou wilt light my candle:
the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works. - Salvation belongeth unto the Lord:
thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. - Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. - For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the Lord. - And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.
- The Lord is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I hope in him. - Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. - Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.
- I sought the Lord, and he heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears. - I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - O come, let us worship and bow down:
let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil:
he shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in
from this time forth, and even for evermore.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.Next verse!With image
