| You have already been cleansed by the word that I have spoken to you. | You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. |

| I did not shrink from doing anything helpful, proclaiming the message to you and teaching you publicly and from house to house. | How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house. |
| For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. | For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. |
