- Come to a sober and right mind, and sin no more; for some people have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

they shall become like wool. - Stay awake and pray that you may not come into the time of trial; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
- Examine yourselves to see whether you are living in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless, indeed, you fail to meet the test!

- Do not deprive one another except perhaps by agreement for a set time, to devote yourselves to prayer, and then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

- See, I am coming soon; my reward is with me, to repay according to everyone's work.
- See, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too hard for me?
- Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
- In the time of King Herod, after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, asking, “Where is the child who has been born king of the Jews? For we observed his star at its rising, and have come to pay him homage.”
- Speak out, judge righteously,
defend the rights of the poor and needy. - Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, in Jesus.”
- Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from one person's envy of another. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind.
- For the Son of Man came to seek out and to save the lost.
- He said to them, “Then do you also fail to understand? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile,
since it enters, not the heart but the stomach, and goes out into the sewer?” (Thus he declared all foods clean.) - Each of you, however, should love his wife as himself, and a wife should respect her husband.
- But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised; he is not here. Look, there is the place they laid him.”
- And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fish for people.”
- But you, O Bethlehem of Ephrathah,
who are one of the little clans of Judah,
from you shall come forth for me
one who is to rule in Israel,
whose origin is from of old,
from ancient days. - Give heed to my reproof;
I will pour out my thoughts to you;
I will make my words known to you.
