Chinese (traditional)- Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
- Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. - “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
- Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
- I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
- His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
- Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
- I remain confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
- The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. - “Look, he is coming with the clouds,”
and “every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him”;
and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”
So shall it be! Amen. - “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
- But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
- Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
- He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. - On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.”
- Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?
- Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
- Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.
- “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
- Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
- Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.
- I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.
- And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
- Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
This is what the Lord says:
“Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls.
But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’”If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”Next verse!With image
