- And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
- He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

- Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
- By humility and the fear of the Lord

- Death and life are in the power of the tongue:
and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. - He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction:
but he that refuseth reproof erreth. - For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
