- Truly my soul waiteth upon God:
from him cometh my salvation. - Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand:
forget not the humble. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
- My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him. - God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
- So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
- I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - O God, thou art my God;
early will I seek thee:
my soul thirsteth for thee,
my flesh longeth for thee
in a dry and thirsty land,
where no water is. - Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
- Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men. - Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. - So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.
- For thou, O God, hast proved us:
thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. - Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
- But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
- Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
- There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
- What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
- If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God.Who is a God like unto thee,
that pardoneth iniquity,
and passeth by the transgression
of the remnant of his heritage?
he retaineth not his anger for ever,
because he delighteth in mercy. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.Next verse!With image
