Chinese (traditional)- I cried out to him with my mouth;
his praise was on my tongue. - The Lord makes firm the steps
of the one who delights in him. - Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
who walk in obedience to him. - Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call on him while he is near. - May God bless us still,
so that all the ends of the earth will fear him. - While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”
- As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
- Blessed are those who keep his statutes
and seek him with all their heart. - And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
- Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
- I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.” - No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
- But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you: to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. - So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.
- Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.
- Every word of God is flawless;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. - The Lord is good,
a refuge in times of trouble.
He cares for those who trust in him. - This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.
- The Lord will rescue his servants;
no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. - The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the Lord delivers him from them all. - And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
- For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.
- And, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.
Sing to God, sing in praise of his name,
extol him who rides on the clouds;
rejoice before him—his name is the Lord.
A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows,
is God in his holy dwelling.If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.Next verse!With image
