- Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
- The rich man's wealth is his strong city,
and as an high wall in his own conceit. - He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law,
even his prayer shall be abomination. - Sing unto God, sing praises to his name:
extol him that rideth upon the heavens
by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.
A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows,
is God in his holy habitation. - In my distress I called upon the Lord,
and cried unto my God:
he heard my voice out of his temple,
and my cry came before him, even into his ears. - But the mercy of the Lord is
from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,
and his righteousness unto children's children;
To such as keep his covenant,
and to those that remember his commandments to do them. - I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
- Can one go upon hot coals,
and his feet not be burned? - As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
- And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.
- Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
- Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
- There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
- Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
- Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. - And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews.
- An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour:
but through knowledge shall the just be delivered. - Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
- He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul;
but he that despiseth his ways shall die.But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.Next verse!With image
