- Since thou wast precious in my sight,
thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee:
therefore will I give men for thee,
and people for thy life. - These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

The meek will he guide in judgment:
and the meek will he teach his way. - But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
- And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
- Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths. - And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
- I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
- Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.
- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee. - There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
- Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways.
