- He answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
- Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. - Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.

whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid? - Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
- In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
- For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
- Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”
- This is what I have observed to be good: that it is appropriate for a person to eat, to drink and to find satisfaction in their toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given them—for this is their lot.
- Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for God has already approved what you do.
- For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
- Surely God is my help;
the Lord is the one who sustains me. - I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.
- My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge. - My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart,
for they will prolong your life many years
and bring you peace and prosperity. - When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
- Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
Since you are precious and honored in my sight,
and because I love you,
I will give people in exchange for you,
