- You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary:
I am the Lord. - I cried to Him with my mouth,
And He was extolled with my tongue. - When I kept silent, my bones grew old
Through my groaning all the day long. - If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
- The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid? - I acknowledged my sin to You,
And my iniquity I have not hidden.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah - And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
- Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is with those who uphold my life. - “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I hope in Him!” - But You, O Lord, are a shield for me,
My glory and the One who lifts up my head. - “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. - By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
- If you love Me, keep My commandments.
- For You are my rock and my fortress;
Therefore, for Your name’s sake,
Lead me and guide me. - O my soul, you have said to the Lord,
“You are my Lord,
My goodness is nothing apart from You.” - Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God. - I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - Hear, my son, and receive my sayings,
And the years of your life will be many. - I spread out my hands to You;
My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. Selah - The Lord God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills. - Therefore I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
My God will hear me. - O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water. - My son, do not forget my law,
But let your heart keep my commands;
For length of days and long life
And peace they will add to you. - Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name. - Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ”
