Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'To'
- For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
- Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
- Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
- I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
- Who will render to every man according to his deeds.
- For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
- It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.
- Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
- Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
- How much better is it to get wisdom than gold!
and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver! - But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
- Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
- Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
- But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
- There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
- To do justice and judgment
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
- Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. - Turn not to the right hand nor to the left:
remove thy foot from evil. - The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me;
because the Lord hath anointed me
to preach good tidings unto the meek;
he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. - Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else. Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?Next verse!With image
