- Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.
- Let all that you do be done in love.
- Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
- May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
- Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.
- What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?
- But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.
- But I have trusted in your steadfast love;
my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
because he has dealt bountifully with me. - And keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.
- Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in what is right,
and teaches the humble his way. - Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a right spirit within me. - You are my hiding place and my shield;
I hope in your word. - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
- The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
- Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they shall see God.
