Be mindful of your mercy, O Lord, and of your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Do not love the world or the things in the world. The love of the Father is not in those who love the world.Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.

Come now, let us argue it out, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be like snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”

When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but the prudent are restrained in speech.Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues.
