- A fool spurns his father’s correction,
but whoever heeds admonition is prudent. - Fine words are not becoming to a fool,
and much less are false words to a noble. - Let those who are wise understand these words,
and let the prudent acknowledge them.
For straight are the ways of the Lord;
the upright walk in them,
but sinners stumble.
