For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil:
he shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in
from this time forth, and even for evermore. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. I made haste, and delayed not
to keep thy commandments. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer. I will never forget thy precepts:
for with them thou hast quickened me. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. By humility and the fear of the Lord
are riches, and honour, and life. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. For a thousand years in thy sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
and as a watch in the night. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. Yea, though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world,
even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Day unto day uttereth speech,
and night unto night sheweth knowledge. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. And keep the charge of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself. Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. The integrity of the upright shall guide them:
but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Grant thee according to thine own heart,
and fulfil all thy counsel. The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us. He that walketh uprightly,
and worketh righteousness,
and speaketh the truth in his heart.
He that backbiteth not with his tongue,
nor doeth evil to his neighbour,
nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.Next verse!With image
