Chinese (traditional)What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Our help is in the name of the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. This also comes from the Lord of hosts,
Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance. The Lord is on my side;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me? Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
The righteous run to it and are safe. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved). For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord! He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to covetousness. For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God. No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction. For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have. Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them. You have also given me the shield of Your salvation;
Your right hand has held me up,
Your gentleness has made me great.
You enlarged my path under me,
So my feet did not slip. And said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.” Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. A soft answer turns away wrath,
But a harsh word stirs up anger. Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word. For You are my rock and my fortress;
Therefore, for Your name’s sake,
Lead me and guide me. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil,
But counselors of peace have joy. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.Next verse!With image
