Chinese (traditional)Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full. Oh how great is your goodness,
which you have laid up for those who fear you,
which you have worked for those who take refuge in you,
before the sons of men! All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Commit your deeds to Yahweh,
and your plans shall succeed. Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. Pleasant words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects.
Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Don’t forsake your friend and your father’s friend.
Don’t go to your brother’s house in the day of your disaster.
A neighbor who is near is better than a distant brother. Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you. Joy comes to a man with the reply of his mouth.
How good is a word at the right time! If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie and don’t tell the truth. You shall seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. My flesh and my heart fails,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established; that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine. I will lift up my eyes to the hills.
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from Yahweh,
who made heaven and earth. Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children. Even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. I spread out my hands to you.
My soul thirsts for you, like a parched land. Selah. If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit. Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom. Who can find a worthy woman?
For her value is far above rubies. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us. He will not allow your foot to be moved.
He who keeps you will not slumber. As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.Next verse! With image
