Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:
and with all thy getting get understanding. Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance. As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
in thy presence is fulness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord;
and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you:
for I am merciful, saith the Lord,
and I will not keep anger for ever. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. There is none holy as the Lord:
for there is none beside thee:
neither is there any rock like our God. And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock. Teach me to do thy will;
for thou art my God:
thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. He revealeth the deep and secret things:
he knoweth what is in the darkness,
and the light dwelleth with him. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.Next verse!With image
