But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first. Treasures of wickedness profit nothing:
but righteousness delivereth from death. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses;
for they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth,
nor my transgressions:
according to thy mercy remember thou me
for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. A man's heart deviseth his way:
but the Lord directeth his steps. Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him. Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
and the son of man, that thou visitest him? Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. The name of the Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Better is a little with righteousness
than great revenues without right. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things:
this is known in all the earth. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
the Lord is the strength of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
